Sailfish Response ("we," "us") helps local service businesses respond quickly when they miss a phone call. When you call a business line served by Sailfish Response and the call cannot be answered, we send a text message back to the number you called from to help with your service request and scheduling. This policy explains what information we handle when that happens and how we protect it.
When you call a participating business or reply to our messages, we collect: the phone number you called from, the date and time of your call, the contents of text messages you send us, and any details you choose to share so we can help (such as your name, service address, or a description of your issue).
We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, help schedule your appointment, route urgent requests to the business you were trying to reach, and keep a record of the conversation for that business. We do not use your information for advertising.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
You consent to receive our text messages by placing a voice call to a participating business's phone number; our messages are a direct reply to your call. Message frequency varies by conversation and is typically 2–6 messages per inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, or reply HELP for assistance.
We share conversation details only with the business you were trying to reach (so they can complete your service request) and with the service providers necessary to deliver messages (such as telecommunications carriers). We never sell your information.
Conversation records are kept as long as needed to provide service to you and the business you contacted, and are deleted upon verified request where permitted by law.
